The Reserva line from Habanos is traditionally characterized by the edition of absolute classics from the range, which are made from tobaccos that have been specially matured. Now follows with the Partagás Series E No.2 as a Gran Reserva made from tobaccos from the 2015 harvest, a still quite young format. With a length of 140 mm and a large ring gauge of 52, it lies extremely comfortably in the hand and brings the tobacco blend of the Partagás line series to its best advantage. For Habanos S.A. this was reason enough to dedicate a Gran Reserva edition to this format.
These excellent cigars consist of tobaccos from the 2015 harvest that have been carefully matured and are therefore undeniably one of the most exclusive and extraordinary pleasures in the world of Habanos. It goes without saying that only the most experienced rollers in the manufactories are selected to roll these masterpieces from the best tobacco leaves. Only 5,000 boxes of 15 cigars each of each Gran Reserva edition are released worldwide.
For the production of the Gran Reservas only at least five years matured
Aged tobaccos for filler, binder and wrapper, coming from the best Vegas Finas de Prima from the Pinar del Rio zone. The Spanish word “cosecha” means “harvest” and indicates the year from which the tobacco leaves used come.
A second, black and gold cigar ring is used to identify these cigars as “Gran Reserva”. The noble boxes are lacquered in high-gloss black and underline the elegant appearance of the Gran Reserva cigars.
